Just published something in an e-magazine/newspaper/book, etc.?
Add it to LinkedIn in the Publications section of your profile.
But wait a sec-I did that and it’s waaaay at the bottom of the list. C’mon LinkedIn, why would I show my most recent publication last? I just don’t understand that logic, but, there is a fix and it’s pretty easy, but time-consuming.
Open your profile and move down to your Publication section. Anything there that you mouse over highlights in gray. And off to the left margin you will see a long, thin vertical gray block. In the graphic below I have highlighted it in the red box. Hold your left mouse button down on the gray block and a four-headed arrow appears.
Now you can drag that entire article up or down to reorder it.
Do this once for all past articles and remember when you list the next article you write to bring the most recent one you list to the top. Ta-da!
